John Bain Marketing - History

 

John Bain is an experienced marketing professional with a special interest in marketing communications, particularly online marketing and digital marketing.

Over the past decade John has utilized his creative, communication, organisation and analytical skills in digital marketing combining website development (and maintenance), electronic direct mail (EDMs) database marketing and social media.

During this time John has successfully marketed companies participating in the sports memorabilia, construction, telecommunications, recycling, market, sports medicine and Not For Profit sectors.

2008 - 2013 saw John gain valuable experience in channel marketing, specifically to the education and government sectors as part of the mobile telecommunication industries product stewardship recycling program MobileMuster.
John's background features brand and marketing services management. These include product management and research roles in the liquor industry. Here John gained experience both in the development of marketing campaigns and the assessment of them using advanced quantitative skills, utilising both primary and secondary research sources. John has been successful in developing new roles from inception at several organisations due to creativity, flexibility and adaptability. These roles have required interaction with both internal and external stakeholders and resources.

In his spare time John enjoys travel, reading, and sport, both as a spectator and active participant (player, referee, coach and administrator). Also photography, {I may slip in a few of my favourite pictures here!!}
